The core problem facing my entire life was not being on the right track religiously. That problem didn't go away when I became Torah observant, but rather it became worse because most of the Jewish world today is crazy and arrogantly so. Whatever little religious feeling you have they hijack and utilize for their various cults, at your expense. You have to put up quite a fight to get back on track.
