Guy from LA told me today "Everybody from the West coast who comes to New York hates it." He came to NY briefly and also couldn't stand it.
So we have a real problem with Orthodox Jewish culture being based in New York and Israel, for they are similar. He told me also Israelis don't like LA. It's too calm for them. They like New York though.
I say New York is for New Yorkers and Israel is for Israelis. Everyone from elsewhere should stay clear of these places.
