Machon Shlomo gets everything wrong

It's challenging surviving the frum world, particularly for highly intelligent baalei teshvuah who are not comformists. And Machon Shlomo fails such people in every way. Such people need to be married, need to be exposed to a variety of views so as to see which one they gravitate to, need to retain a sense of dignity and confidence to deal with all the strident voices in the Orthodox world, need to learn about mitzvos, need to learn the workings of halacha, need to approach Gemara slowly so as to develop a taste for it, need to be treated with warmth and concern, need to be exposed to Orthodox community life, need to learn Hebrew, need to have questions addressed about the weird parts of Judaism.

Machon Shlomo does none of that. It degrades, isolates, mocks, and stifles. They get everything wrong. They don't teach Hebrew, halacha, or mitzvos, or machshava. They don't allow for questions (at least they didn't 30 years ago.) They don't get involved with the Jewish community, don't take you to simchas, don't have guest speakers, don't have a library. They have almost nothing. And when somebody gets everything wrong, it tends to be intentional.
